Visit you virtual neighbourhood
“There is a virtual neighbourhood in Brussels and you are part of it!”That was the message we sent to all our friends before the 4 of October.
As part of NuitBlancheBrussels we had constructed and painted 3 doors that were connected to a website called e-neighbour.net. The idea was to show that we are sometimes much closer to someone on the other end of the world than to people that live next door. The doors created a connection between people at the nuit blanche event and their ‘virtual neighbours’.
Obviously things did not always go right. Lots of helpers where needed to create the doors and a lot of bottlenecks had to be handled in the last stressfull minutes before the event.
However, the results was amazing and quite some people got excited when people from all over the world started talking to them through the doors:

Where are the doors now ? What’s going to happen to them ? Will there be an e-neighbour.net version 2 ?
