I am fascinated by the dichotomy of two principles and their influence on our future: sustainability (we have exactly one planet) and progress (evolutionary imperative). Are we bullshitting ourselves if we dream of ’sustainable growth’? Will we succeed evolving cancerous growth of quantity to sustainable growth of quality? Sustainability and progress are the two sides of the coin of our life, as it is circulating the veins of our economies, which are the habitat of every farmer, engineer, politician, trader and scientist, every woman, man and child.
